Building a railway from scratch is prohibitively expensive. Obviously  we have very limited funds and so we have become passed masters at making the very most out of anything we are given. Over the years we have been most grateful for help from across the railway industry, from other heritage railways and from well- wishers.

There are several items we are trying to obtain at present. If you can help please contact Alan Price via the contact address.

  • 800 metres of 6 pair (or more) telephone cable.
  • 800 metres of single core electrical cable 1.5 -2.5mm core size.
  • 2 pairs of 95lb.BH – 113Afb insulated rail joints.
  • A welding screen.
  • Steel Bar, Rod and Plate over 1mm.long.
