The station lies about 1/4 mile south of Midsomer Norton town centre. The approaches are shown on the map.

We encourage visitors to travel by sustainable transport wherever possible.

We occupy a small site with space for disabled visitors plus a limited number of customer parking spaces; at busy times you are welcome to drop off passengers at or near the entrance gates and use the extensive free public parking on nearby sites as indicated above.

  • The station is beside the B3355 Silver Street Midsomer Norton, BA3 2EY. During operational days the only parking available in the station car park is for persons with reduced mobility.
  • Free parking is available opposite the station at Norton Hill School, Charlton Road BA3 4AD at weekends and holidays.
  • Please refrain from parking near the station on Silver Street and Charlton Road (which are unsafe and will be coned off on event days) or on local residential roads, as this will upset our neighbours.
  • In Midsomer Norton free Parking is available anytime at BA3 2ET the South Road car park in the town centre.
  • Further free parking is available at weekends and holidays at BA3 2JD the Somervale School, Redfield Rd.

  • From Bath: First Bus 172, 173 and 174.
  • From Bristol weekdays only First Bus 178

On special event days, we aim to provide a shuttle bus from the town centre and parking areas.

On foot/cycling

Public footpaths and pavements approach the main entrance. Follow the National Cycle Network Route 24 from Bath or Frome to Radstock and then the Norton-Radstock Greenway and Five Arches route to Midsomer Norton station on Silver Street.
