Accessibility

We try to make our railway as accessible as possible, however given the nature of our site, some outdoor areas, buildings and rolling stock may not be accessible.

Information for your visit

Our Train & wickham trolley services:

We have a wheelchair accessible carriage which forms part of all our standard services with the exception of our Wickham Trolley rides (see note below).

All of our standard train services are capable of carrying from 2 to 6 fixed wheelchairs in the brake compartment (via ramps provided at the station at Midsomer Norton).

There is also the option for those who are able, to travel in any part of the train with their wheelchair stored in the brake compartment.

Ramps are available at the station to aid boarding. Please remember that our volunteers/staff are always more than happy to help, so please do ask if you need assistance.

Our Wickham Trolley: Please note that due to size and restricted access there is no wheelchair access to our Wickham Trolley.

Platform Access

Step-less access is available for entry to both platforms from the station building.

Disabled Parking

Disabled parking is available at Midsomer Norton Station for approximately six vehicles.
