We try to make our railway as accessible as possible, however given the nature of our heritage buildings, outdoor areas and rolling stock, accessibility is not always feasible.
Information for your visit?
We have a wheelchair accessible carriage which forms part of all our standard services
All of our standard travel services are capable of carrying from 2 to 6 fixed wheelchairs in the brake compartment (via ramps provided at the station at Midsomer Norton.
There is also the option for those who are able, to travel in any part of the train with their wheelchair stored in the brake compartment.
Ramps are available at the station to aid boarding. Please remember that our volunteers/staff are always more than happy to help, so please do ask if you need assistance.
Step-less access is available for entry to both platforms from the station building.
Disabled parking is available at Midsomer Norton for approximately six vehicles.
For disabled parking at events please see the specific event page.
