School Visits
The station and museum at Midsomer Norton are a fantastic place to visit and learn more about the history of Midsomer Norton, its railway and the industry and mines in the surrounding area.
We welcome visits from schools for all age groups from 5 to 16 years of age. We can tailor your visit to last from one hour to a 1/2 day event with lunch provided - if you wish in our buffet coach.
Your visit can include a tour of the site, a train ride - diesel or steam locomotive and a talk from one or more of our volunteers about the railway and the role it played in the history of Midsomer Norton, as well as an opportunity to learn more about the various industries in the Midsomer Norton and Radstock area.
