The Somerset and Dorset railway at Midsomer Norton currently consists of a one-mile running line from the station to the infilled cutting near Chilcompton Tunnel. The Trust and Company have ambitious plans for the future. These include improving the visitor facilities at the station and building an engineering facility at the end of the current running line.
