Steampunk at the Station

A first for the S&D at Midsomer Norton - Steampunk event featuring:

• Canford Heath & Poole Steampunk - check them out on Facebook
• Live music provided by Humphrey & Maude
• Unlimited train travel included in ticket price
• Stalls with a Steampunk theme
• Real Ale
• Station buffet and shop
• Steampunk event from 11am to 4pm
• Trains run every half hour from 11am to event close subject to demand.

 

What is Steampunk?

An inspired movement of creativity and imagination, with a backdrop of Victorian England. Modern technologies are reimagined and realised as elaborate works of art, fashion and mechanics. If Jules Verne or H.G. Wells were writing their science fiction today, it would be considered "steampunk".
