New Year Steam & Mince Pie Special

Join us for New Year on the Somerset & Dorset Railway at Midsomer Norton. Enjoy a hot drink (cold drink for children) and a mince pie from the warmth of our superbly restored buffet coach as well as unlimited trips behind guest steam loco Kilmersdon in cosy steam heated carriages.

Ticket prices £12 for adults and £6 for children aged 4-16; children aged 3 and under travel free. Ticket price includes a drink, mince pie and all steam train rides. Departures from Midsomer Norton South station at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 14:00 & 15:00 but remember your ticket entitles you to ride any or all of these as you wish subject to available seats!

This event will feature the last outing of guest steam loco 0-4-0ST No.1788 Kilmersdon before she returns to to the Watercress Line.

Our buffet, station shop, second-hand book emporium and museum will all be open.
