8S Wickham Trolley returns to Vale of Berkeley Railway

The small two-seater 8S Wickham trolley No.156W has now left site at Midsomer Norton after its summer holiday where it was very much enjoyed by all who travelled on it during our Wickham Weekender in July and some of the subsequent Wickham Wednesdays that we offered during August and September. Thank you to owner Peter Nicholson for allowing it to come to us and similarly to our friends at the Vale of Berkeley Railway where it normally resides.  Its stay with us marked the first time that this unique 75 year old machine had been out on a track journey of any length since its restoration a few years ago.  We are planning another Wickham Weekender event for next year at which we hope the 8S and other visiting Wickhams will be in attendance as well as our own resident B40W machine.
