Halloween event at the station enjoyed by all

Visitors and railway volunteers alike enjoyed a fantastic Halloween event at Midsomer Norton station on Sunday, October 27th with the fine, sunny Autumn weather also playing a big part. Children and in many instances accompanying adults arrived in amazing and creative Halloween outfits to add to the generally spooky atmosphere. Not to be outdone our railway volunteers also dug out the outfits to join in the fun - many tall pointed hats were in evidence!

The event was very well attended to the extent that additional trains were run both in the morning and during the afternoon session. Our vintage Class 107 Diesel Multiple Unit was suitably decorated and did sterling service throughout the day.

Thank you to everyone who supported this brilliant event.
