Steam locos at Midsomer Norton for 2023 season

The planned guest engine for the year "Cranford" has been returned to its owners as previously announced.  We regret any disappointment caused to our customers and volunteers by this development although on a more positive note steam should be back at Midsomer Norton during the middle to late Summer in the form of our resident Sentinel steam locomotive 47109 “Joyce”.  She has been out of action for a while due to failed boiler superheater tubing.  The offsite element of this work is in progress and will be followed by on site fitment and testing prior to the loco returning to service.
