Farewell to guest steam locomotive Kilmersdon

We said farewell to 0ur winter season guest steam locomotive Kilmersdon on Wednesday January 10th as she left our site destined for her current base on the Mid Hants Railway. N0. 1788 had been with us since early October and has performed a variety of duties faultlessly and was a key element in the sucess of our Santa trains in December.Her final outing with us was for the Mince Pie Specials on New Years Day - another great success. Our thanks to both the locomotive's owners, the Somerset & Dorset Railway Trust and to the Mid Hants for their help in getting Kilmersdon to Midsomer Norton. We'd love to see her back!
