Our visiting steam locomotive is out of action due to a serious mechanical issue but we still plan to run as follows over New Year:
Dec 31st - Brake Van Rides - the loco will now be diesel shunter D1120 and your ticket will be converted to an All Day Rover so you can ride as often as you wish subjet to space being available. If you already have a session booked then don't worry - you'll be prioritised on the time you selected and you now have the option to have another go!
Jan 1st - Mince Pie Special - the format remains unchanged but the steam duties will be taken over by top & tailed trains using D1120 and our Class 08 shunter. The DMU will still run as planned. All tickets are All Day Rovers.
We apologise for this development and fully appreciate the disappointment caused by non availability of steam but we'll do our best to make your visit emjoyable.
