Wickham Wednesdays in September to include guest trolley

Good news! Our ever popular Wickham Trolley rides are set to run on all Wednesdays in September starting on the 6th. Click here to find out more about our Wickham Wednesdays and to book tickets in our resident 6 seater trolley (number B40W). It's a unique way of experiencing the restored railway and great fun!

And there's more! - as an added attraction we'll also be featuring our guest Type 8S Wickham Trolley (number 156W) which had it's first outing at Midsomer Norton in July following superb restoration at the Vale of Berkeley Railway Thanks are due to them and owner Peter Nicholson for facilitating the visit of this unique trolley to Midsomer Norton.

The smaller 8S trolley can only accommodate one passenger (plus a driver of course!) so for this reason is restricted to adults only. Rides on this will be subject to demand and tickets (£2 each) will be available to buy at the station on the day only - ie NOT in advance from this website. Please also note that unlike our larger resident trolley the 8S will travel along a shorter stretch of our line.
